Send a PM
Give a Hug
We recently moved to Huntsville,Alabama. Prior to our move my wife was being treated for lyme disease by a physician in Rockville, Maryland. He was recommended by a lyme disease group that met in the Washington, DC area. I can provide his name to anyone who may want to know in a PM if desired.

We would like to locate a doctor who specializes in lyme disease (I guess you refer to them as a LLMD) closer to our new location so I am looking for suggestions.

My wife has been on antibiotics for some time and does not seem to be getting better. Is this normal?

Thanks.

Nate

Nate, yes, It's normal to take a while to get better, I suggest she keep a journal every day, write down all symptoms of the day, mark it as a bad day, ok day, good day...eventually you will start seeing more and more good days, one month it could be one day, the next month maybe two. It's a slow and steady process. I will send you a pm to find a doc where you are.
Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.
