MDJunction to me

"All I can say is that this has been the best place ever. It has been six to seven months since I joined, and I have learned so much. I now believe in myself and accept myself on a completely different level. The people on MDJunction has been so supportive and accepting that I have been able to adopt it into my personal life. That has reduced a lot of stress in my life. Thanks to all." (bunnyfly)

Hi Welcome:

Its going as best as it can. I was bitten in late July 07 did the abx route until mid Dec then went off everything. I still have mild pain in the neck and knee and once in a while BEE-STING feeling but other than that AOK....

when i can get a few extra minutes i will elaborate more, i just was glancing over some discussions and was wondering did most people get bit and then go a few months to years before symptoms??...I remember going blueberry picking on grandparents farm in wisconsin while helping during hey season, was out in woods picking for 45 minutes, came back and plucked 138 deer ticks off, had a 103 to 105 fever that came and went 2 days later. apparently the amount of lyme intake effects how long it takes to start showing symptoms

I found my tick on me July 22 at 6:30pm at night. I either got it Friday afternoon at the woods, or that same day while cutting the trees in my back yard. I become sick 8 days later...

I had burning on my upper chest, neck and knee pain, flu, 102 fever for two days, just plain old sick...Tested positive in October. Was on an off abx from Aug until mid dec...Have been on nothing since...

many lymies go untreated for YEARS. if you catch it quickly , you're fairly lucky. many don't even know they were bit. and it's also been shown to be in fleas and mosquitos! Some people might even have lyme in their bodies but not show any symptoms, until an event triggers it to rage! along with lyme comes viruses, parasites, yeast, and all kinds of fun stuff, it's a whole body thing, and you must treat it like that to get well. Start now by building up your immune system. garlic is great, can't say enough about it, as is cats claw (samento), parsley, olive leaf oil, ugh, can't think right now, but there's a ton of natural things that are wonderful....read around here, you'll see
