My name is RebeccaLynn. I have three children and have been married for 13 years. This disease has pretty much taken over. I can't work outside of home and have become pretty isolated and reclusive because of it.

My 15 year old son also has Lyme disease but finding treatment in Tennesee is like pulling the teeth of an angry bear.

I'm hoping to find solutions here. I may even have to go to another nearby state to find treatment for us.

In the mean time, I have ordered a juicer and am hoping that daily juicing will help. I've heard and read great things about it.

I started a diary on this site. I could use a friend who knows more about this disease than I do. I am open to anything at this point!

Hi and Welcome:

If you go into Group leaders you can read my profile...

I'm also pretty new to all this, at the moment I will be doing the "Natural Route" with my chiropractic doctor. I've tried the abx route and it has done nothing for me, plus I'm allergic to 99% of the meds out there.

You will make many good friends here, I have...

Julie

hello and welcome. I know all about this taking over your life.. This disease also opens the door for a host of many other issues. Active viruses (major major pain is a good indicator of that), parasites (dr. Klinghardt says pretty much all lymies have them), weakend immune systems, etc.

A juicer is a great idea. Bruscano says to BUILD THAT IMMUNE SYSTEM.... sometimes that alone can beat it. Read his guidlines, print them out, they are wonderful.

As for traveling to another state, that's pretty common, most of us do...pretty ridiculous if you ask me. I know PA is a good one, the have several lyme docs there.

If you're into the natural stuff, good docs to read is Dr. Klinghardt... and Buhner... Buhner is the TOP herbalist in the world. he's got two books I'm reading right now, one is soething about "healing lyme naturally" the other is "natural antibiotics" or herbal abx or something close to that. VERY INTERESTIG.

In the healing lyme naturally he give 3 for sures and 2 extra helpfulls to add to abx, if you don't want to go totally natural, thenn latet he's got his whole natural protocol there.

If you want to read more about me, look up in the group leader section and in my profile (longer version in profile)

Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.
