I know how you feel!!! I was recently diagnosed with Lyme after 17 yrs of misdiagnoses. After the tick was removed when i wsas 9 I became ill and then developed a bullseye rash. I was taken to emergency care where they told my mother it wasn't Lyme it didn't exist around here, but if i wasn't better in a few weeks to bring me back. I got better but 6 mths to a year later I developed problem after problem which here we are back to the tick bite, and come to find that docter was wrong!! I do have Lyme, chronic problaly there forever. If only the docter had given me atibiotics 17 years ago I probably wouldn't have Lyme . Shouldn't someone be held responsible eventually!! |
