I am not diagnosed with Lyme's (yet) or whatever is truly causing all of my symptoms. I am intedning on asking my primary care doctor on Weds to run the test though. In an article I read 39 Symptoms Of Lym's Disease i must have at least 20! I am also on the MG support group (which we now know I don't have) and the adrenally insufficient group ( which I do have). But I am still ill and just do not know what is the cause and am at my wits end.

I am on prednisone and have been since February for an eye problem and, well, I thought all of my symptoms were related to that and the adrenal glands not working but now am not so sure anymore. I seem to have just too many other issues going on that have no diagnosed reason.

Well, that is about all for now. I will write again.

well make sure you ask for the western blot and just to give you an example my first test which was done through quest came back with only two bands positive so because the cdc states you have to have five to be positive i went through a lab called igenex and my results came back with six bands highly positive so keep researching i am now going to be getting the help i need check out youtube and under our skin.com

hi jeeplibby,

Prednisone since Feb? Wow, it's my understanding that steroids and Lyme are a big no no. Steroids shut down the immune system...

Igenex and Immunosciences are the top labs for Lyme. However, lyme is also made on a clinical diagnosis. In other words, you don't need a postive lab test to be diagnosed with Lyme.

What's wrong with your eye? The lyme spirochete loves the eyes. Hmmm.......

Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

Open your mind to the possibilities available to you.

An attitude of gratitude is good 'medicine,' too.
