MDJunction to me

jpcrps"When I found MD Junction, I was in the beginning stages of RSD/CRPS. I was scared, lacked knowledge about the condition, and felt very alone.

MD Junction changed all of that for me. I found friendship and terrific information from people who had first-hand knowledge of this syndrome. It was and still is a big part of my life.

MDJ was my first step on the journey of grief; from denial to acceptance. I am now inspired to help others by sharing this amazing site and sharing my own experiences. I am very impressed that one forum site can provide hope and inspiration to people suffering from so many different conditions. I am proud to be a part of this community.

Just wondering if this would be a good book for me to purchase and learn my options?

Any thoughts.

Hi Scoobie,

I have the book. However, one of my favorites,if you can only get one book, is Healing Lyme by Stephen Harrod Buhner. We have a thread on here that lists members' favorite books. Just type it in the search area in the upper right hand of your screen.Smile .

Clayton is a group leader. She is on vacation right now and getting ready for her wedding. She'll be along again in a few weeks.

Peace,

Connie

Thank you Connie and Bonski!

Looks like i have gotten about 50% pro and cons of the book I mentioned, had already had bought it, but will look up this other one as well. I liked the reviews on the first book. It looked very user friendly. Thanks for the tip on the thread for the favorite books ladies!

the book you link is not the best- Much of the info on Lyme you can find here and most anywhere for free. and the ten treatments are not really 10 and theyre not "tops" by anyone's account except the author who owns the publishing company.

from the book he has:

antibitoics, marshall protocol,salt/C ( a mere 5 pages) thats THREE and 2 arent even supported by any validity

THEN he says Detox ( which isnt a treatment at all),Rife which he runs a support group for and sells stuff for

then he lists 5 supportive supplements- enzymes, mangosteen ( NOT a supplement, but an expensive MLM juice)lithium, CoQ10,magnesium

After buying this book and reading every few pages " if you want to know more buy my other books" I realized how useless it is. I no longer suggest or buy anything by BioMed publishing. too big a ripoff for those needing answers and not able to waste their money.

even the paragraphs he puts in about the few treatments arent detailed enough or over and beyond what you see on the many websites.

Id recommend Buhner's book and Ken Singleton's Lyme Disease Solution and finally for a political perspective ) not a how to) Pam Weintraub's recent Cure Unknown

My fav is the Lyme Disease Solution by Dr Kenneth Singleton, an LLMD. It's amazing how he touches on every bit and piece of the disease, and it has a lot of diet info and lab markers/insight on to the base line of human health and healing

The book you mentioned is supposed to be a good one as well. It's one of the first 'hits' on a search so you know they have the bucks to pay to be 'first'. So-must have been successful!

Repeating myself

Singleton touches on ALL and it's great, I have read about four but Buhner's I haven't, it's probably quite good as well as I have heard good reviews. Singletons book is 'The Lyme Disease Solution' and he incorporates many other aspects of immunity/lack thereof, diet, labs (not just Lyme related) factors as to why one has say- no CD57 , and like I said, focused on Lyme but also written with generic common sense descriptions. It's an easy read and for me, the most informative , not confusing for any average Joe. I would like to get Buhner's book as well, but, am all read out for nowSmile
