hi all- i'm recently un-engaged and moving to dallas/plano. i lived in atlanta for 15 years and had a GREAT doc there since 2004. now i'm relocating and need to find a new one. i hope you guys will understand that i just can't even bring myself to write all of it here. but in a nutshell, i got bit in atl when my roommate brought home a tick from ellijay. i started getting bacterial infections repeatedly. i finally went numb from the waist down and ended up in the hospital. i went to a neurologist who tested me for lyme without me knowing it. they called 3 days later and sent me to an infectious guy i hated. it took me a long time to find my doc in atl that i adored. now i have to move on and find a new one. i'm exhausted just thinking about trying to find a new one. i would rather cry myself to death first. gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. help! also- are there any plano/dallas support groups? i used to meet up when able with another lymie in atl. that helped a lot, bc she really understood. i get so tired of trying to explain what it is and how i feel and how depressing it is. ugh. thanks all- jeni- 39 yrs old. suddenly single. infested with lyme junk. xooxxo |
