MDJunction to me

"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....

thanks MDJunction

hi all-

i'm recently un-engaged and moving to dallas/plano. i lived in atlanta for 15 years and had a GREAT doc there since 2004.

now i'm relocating and need to find a new one.

i hope you guys will understand that i just can't even bring myself to write all of it here. but in a nutshell, i got bit in atl when my roommate brought home a tick from ellijay.

i started getting bacterial infections repeatedly. i finally went numb from the waist down and ended up in the hospital.

i went to a neurologist who tested me for lyme without me knowing it. they called 3 days later and sent me to an infectious guy i hated.

it took me a long time to find my doc in atl that i adored. now i have to move on and find a new one.

i'm exhausted just thinking about trying to find a new one. i would rather cry myself to death first.

gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

help!

also- are there any plano/dallas support groups? i used to meet up when able with another lymie in atl. that helped a lot, bc she really understood. i get so tired of trying to explain what it is and how i feel and how depressing it is. ugh.

thanks all-

jeni- 39 yrs old. suddenly single. infested with lyme junk.

Send Jamie, a group leader, a PM & she can send u a list of LLMD'S in your area. I stayed in plano after "Katrina" & its a big place, i liked it though. The schools r great & much better than Louisiana schools. Im sorry your going thru this. Stay positive & u can get thru this.

God Bless,

KRISSY
