See my blog Lymemd.blogspot.com. I can be reached through ILADS.I am passionate about helping people with this frequently devastating disease. Physicians are incredibly ignorant about this epidemic. Doctors who do treat it risk state board disciplinary actions. In general Lyme care is not affordable. Lyme can be treated based on sound scientific principals and most patients get better. There are no standard protocols yet and all patients are differnt. I am willing to help people in the area around Germantown MD. I will try to answer questions posted in this forum as well. First look at my blog. Go back to entries form May first.
I am a family doctor in Germantown Maryland. I have been treating Lyme for several years and have treated between 500 and 1000 patients. I am learning all the time. I don't claim to have all the answers. I answer questions because I want to help people. Everything about this disease is controversial. I want to write a book which will be a patient guide to Lyme, so questions from patients are helpful to me.

I checked out your blog and it's very informative. I posted a comment. I can't wait to show my doc your opinion on the Fry test...mine showed "suggestive" of Hemobartonella.

Thanks for offering your insight and expertise!

Hi Lyme md and welcome to our group. We're glad you're here.

I'm a recovered lymie. I feel lucky to be alive.

I saw a biological MD in the South. He prescribed a combination of homeopathics, herbals and nutritional sups that killed bugs AND boosted my immune system. I completely agree with your statement that all patients are different AND that most patients get better.

I'll go check out your blog.

Thank you for joining us!

Connie

Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

Open your mind to the possibilities available to you.

An attitude of gratitude is good 'medicine,' too.
