Another question, SORRY....

In the package there are only two tubes. As you can see from my other post he ordered the Western Blot IgG, Western Blot IgM, Lyme PCR-SERUM

and B.Microi-IgG&IgM antibody for Babesiosis.

Question is, I only need the two tubes???? or do I have to order something else from Igenex? I don't want to have this wrong and start all over.

Thank you so much

Juju

gosh honey, I hope someone answers this, I really don't know the answer to that. Many times they can run multiple tests on a single tube of blood. Now that being said, before I had my igenix testing, and he was just doing general testing, they took 20, yes 20! OUCH. But when I was at my llmd's office they only took 2. Mine also ordered some urine test I had to do at home and send to igenix myself....it's a worthless test in many opinions.

be forewarned, lyme tests usually come back negative, unless you are one of the "lucky" ones. I say lucky, only because then you know what in the world is wrong with you. Mine have all been negative, but I have over 60 symptoms. A good lyme doc will treat symptomatically.... so don't get to stressed if it comes negative,,...do your research and fight for what is in your heart. I wouldn't wish how I feel on anyone, it's gone on too long, I have had many cortisone shots for pain, which in turn just might be the death of me....DO NOT GET CORTISONE,....makes thelyme run rampit

Yup I knew that about cortisone. I hate the stuff...I take Lyrcia and LOVE it, it has become my new best frind for the neck pain and burning.

I was bitten at the end of July and started to get sick 8 days later. I was planning my wedding (got married 9-15) thank god, did not think I would make that day as I felt so awful, but god was on my side. We did have to cancel the honeymoon (Rivera Maya in Mexico) which really upset me. Thank god we bought insurance and was not out $5500.00

My problem is I'm allergic to all meds for Lyme. I pretty much can't take anything. Saw the allergist last week to TRY another pill and will start that one Monday after my blood is drawn. I heard you have to be off all pills for 10 days....So I'm hoping this one will work, if not, they are not sure what to do....This SUCKS....lol

there are herbal ways to treat lyme as well. I know of people who have done it and been successful at it. I know for me, having been sick for 20 years antibiotics probably for at least 3 years....but I am planning on doing it for one, then trying some herbal protocol. I'm going to search and see if I can't find this one site this guy started, he was on abx for years and plateaud, then did herbal stuff and hasn't seen a doc in 10 years....

Do a search there are many sites that explain the "Natural way" or my friend went to GNC and they have a book on lyme and can tell you what to take. But we careful some herbs don't mix well with abxs....
