Hi:

My doctor sent me all my paper work back to have my blood drawn from Igenex.

He ordered the Initial Lyme Panels: Western Blot IgG, Western BLot IgM, Lyme PCR-SERUM. $390.00

What is the difference between the Basic Lyme Panel - Western Blot IgG, Western Blot IgM, Lyme IFA and the one he ordered. This one is 245.00

And should I test for Barbesiois for 125.00??

Thank you

Julie

Julie, one of the tests is for past infections, one is for current infection...sorry I have total lyme brain, so don't know which right now. I don't know what the IFA is. Mine did dome urine test bs too, all negative. my IGg showed a few positive bands. as for babs, don't forget there are 2 other co infections too...if you have symptoms of them, they need to be treated or the lyme will not go into remission. you will NOT be "cured", just goes into remission. check your pm

Is the IFA test, for co-infections? I spoke to Dr. Harris and he said that he sends the kits out, which include the co-infection's blood draw?
