Does anyone know if fluid can be taken from the lymph nodes or veins and be tested for evidence of the Lyme bacteria? I have been having pain in my inner thighs where my lymph veins run, and don't know if it is only due to an infection in my pelvic region that keeps returning, or if it is from the Lyme, or both. I am going to have to have this tested, but also wonder if they can do a test for Lyme in the lymph biopsy when they do it ( since I was never able to get a positive blood test for Lyme ). If the body is constantly ridding itself of Lyme die off, then why wouldn't it appear in the lymph glands and veins? Has anyone learned anything about this? Thanks! Vicki I wish I had solutions for everybody here who is suffering, but I am still hunting for them myself and seem to be more of a student on this board than a teacher. All I have to offer is my experience, support, and prayers based on what I have learned in my recovery. I am not a physician.
