Hi. My name is Gary Campbell and I have been suffering from chronic Lyme disease for at least 7 years but have only been diagnosed this past July. I have developed a free resource for people to enter their symptoms online and they can request the reports to be emailed to them. The symptoms are rated from 0 to 10 and the weekly report color-codes these results so you can easily see trends. If you would like to try this out the website is http://lyme.coconia.net/lymesurvey/.

I hope this can help you in your treatment. I know it helps with mine. Thank you.

Gary Campbell

thanks, this was really helpful, i was just diagnosed a month ago and i'm gonna start doing this every day now because i'm not too sure if the antibiotics have helped or not, but hopefully this will be able to tell.

do you have any other suggestions?

My only suggestions would be to keep track of your symptoms and find a qualified LLMD (Lyme Literate MD). This can be difficult, but it is essential for the proper treatment. I hope you are feeling well. If you need a list of LLMD's in your area, email me and I can put you in touch with someone who can give you a list of doctors in your area.

Gary

Gar, I live in Texas but have had to go to Louisiana to find a doctor that even believes Lyme Disease exists. I have a doctor in TX treating me for my pain, but I get the impression that she really just thinks I'm crazy. Do you know of any LLMDs in the Texas area? I have been to Scott and White Hospital in Temple, TX, the Houston Medical Center, and Northeast Texas.

Hi Gary, welcome! I'm Jaime, one of the group leaders here. Thanks for posting this, what a great thing. My hubby made a chart for me to use , it's a good idea to track our symptoms, that way say, in a year you can look back, see what you were on, how you were feeling, what impovements you've made, etc.

Saranichols, pm me and I can get you a list of docs in texas. I know the docs there aren't the best, many texans have to travel. I was actually bit , had 2 attachted to me, engorged, burned off 20 some years ago, I believe that's where this all started...of course, possible I was born with it, who knows.... guess that doesn't matter anymore, just focus on getting well!

Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

~lyme disease support group leader~
please pm me with any special concerns
