I'm still waiting on my igenex lab results. Hopefully by 10/10 from what the lab told me. My question for those who have previously used this lab. Do they report just the bands, or do they actually report positive or negative for lyme? My reason for asking is that I "convinced" my primary physician to sign the slip and send it from his office after I researched and ordered the testing supplies, so I am sure he will have no idea how to read the results unless it states in big neon letters somewhere "Negative" or "Positive". So I'm just wondering. Thanks. Tamera

Oh and by the way, the picture you see for my profile is my back yard right now...I live on the Kasilof River in Alaska...more pictures at www(dot)alaskariverview(dot)com ........luckily my bed and breakfast season is over for the winter as I don't have the energy to entertain any guests now.

Never give up...keep searching for the answers.

Hi, Tamera

they report on all the bands. they also show for each band whether it was positive, negative or indterminate and how much of a reaction was present on each band. An ideterminate reading means there was a reaction but not enough to register a positive reading. Howerver from what I was told when using this to help diagnose Lyme an indeterminate reading is counted as positive.

I just learned this recently from the testing Igenenix has done and is continuing to do on my daughter.

Good luck.

Roger

make sure you get copies of both western blot igm and igg reports for each person tested.

then go to TIPS; read DR. C'S EXLANAITON OF WESTERN BLOT .... the entire thing has info galore in it from the lymenet.org site!!
