Thanks Connie. My daughter is 23 and symptom free for now but has only been off the antibiotics for 3 weeks so it's early yet. She's otherwise very healthy, very concious of eating healthy and exercising, a tremendous competitive athlete since she was 10 and the last person you'd ever expect to be sick. So when she started complaining of being exhausted, getting colds, flu and pneumonia, it was pretty clear something wasn't right. She seems back to her old self now but frankly, I don't trust the doctors when they say she's fine! I will keep a close watch on her! Thank you all again

Wonderful news that your daughter is symptom free!

I think you are wise to question the doctors when they say she's fine. After all, my docs kept telling me I was fine.

Here's something interesting that happened last summer. My kids went to Ga (augusta) last summer to spend a few days with their Aunt. (Yay for me and David to have a few days together...unfortunalty I was not feeling so good...got a cold and i was in the middle of my fight with lyme..ohwell, there's always this year) well, a teenaged boy got Lyme while they were there! He had the classic bulls eye rash, his docs diagnosed it right away...lucky for him! At least his doc was on the ball. Anyway, they prescribed two weeks of doxy. Well, I was talking to my doc about this case. Just his opinion, but he believes two weeks of doxy are just not enough. He suggested he also take a homeopathic called Toxaway (I believe). The teen-ager followed through and so far so good. Anyway, I don't know how you feel about homeopathics. It's just something to think about.

All that exercise and good food will surely help your daughter. Good for her.

Stay well and peace,

Connie

Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

Open your mind to the possibilities available to you.

An attitude of gratitude is good 'medicine,' too.
