MDJunction to me

"When I first came to MDJ, I was in a very dark place, and feeling quite alone, I don't know how I found this site, but I have been very grateful ever since, all of you have offered insight to the illness of Bipolar and the other things going on with me, being here has allowed me to find friends, and to feel safe in discussing things that I would never have shared before.

I believe it has also offered me the chance to reach out and help others. A simple Thank you, is all that I have to offer, to this site and to the wonderful people here.

Hi:

Well if anyone read the article I posted from our paper it was very interseting.

I just called the Lake County Health Department, spent 1 hour on the phone with them.

Since I picked up the tick in my back yard they are coming out to put traps on our trees and on the lawn, he said they will collect the traps and test the ticks and let me know what they find. He also agreed about the CDC being wrong on only Deer ticks carring lyme, he also said that wood ticks carry some awful stuff also.

He wants to come out after my honeymoon and interview me, after I told him my story he found it very intersting. I told him that I can't take the abx for lyme and going the "Natural route"

He also said that ticks don't fall from trees, I thought they did but he said no, no idea if that is true or not, he said I got it from the lawn or if I was walking in the woods which I was that weekend.

He was great and very understanding, he is going to call my doctor and inform him that lyme is up here big time and to watch and ask questions when someone comes in that was once healthy and at the moment very sick like I was....However my doctor already knows about all this, he is a WONDERFUL doctor, I trust him with my life.

Jim just graduated from school (Yes his second masters 4.0) as you can see I'm very proud and the man he became friends with is from Germany and has helped us so much with my lyme, he went for his master the Phd (which Jim is also doing at the moment) to be a doctor, and said lyme is big time in germany and going to give me a contact in Germany regarding my case.

so there is hope at the end for all of us, never and I mean never give up the fight, someday we will look back at this and realize it has made us a much stronger person.

Be well

Julie
