Hi There,

My 13 year old daughter has lyme and I am in desperate need of a specialist to help her. I live in Monmouth County, NJ, but am willing to travel however far it takes to get her help. She is constantly weak and tired, can't focus in school, has chronic digestive pain, and has dizzy spells. I really need to find a good lyme doctor quickly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi MarinaG, your best bet is to go to the Group Leader tab and PM (Private Message) Jaime or Christine (CMANY). Let them know where you are and how far you are willing to travel, they may be able to help. Best of luck!

Hi MarinaG, if your willing to travel I see an amazing LLMD in PA, I used to travel myself for a LLMD in NJ. I now see her since she is a bit closer to me. She is a wonderful doctor who herself had had lyme at one time and her son as well. I started getting sick around your daughters age over 20yrs ago, unfortunetly they didn't know what I had until too late. This doctor is VERY GOOD at what she does, she sees chilren and adults. She is a member of the ILADS as well. I can give you her number if you'd like. Her name is Dr. C, she is located in Chester County, PA. She does oral, IV antibiotics and Homeopathic Meds as well. Please let me know if I can be of any help I can give you her numberSmile

We haven't seen the LLMD yet for our 10 year old. We have an appointment though. It is Dr. J (we can't give names out just initials) and he is located in CT. He is a Pediatric LLMD and I am sure that he will be on the list if you are willing to travel.

Please know that you are not alone and that we can pull through this together.

HUGS

My granddaughter sees Dr. J in CT also. A long wait for the appointment but she is only 2 and none of the other doctors would take her on cause of her age. I think you will have sucess with the list I gave you.

WE just saw Dr. J in CT for my 15 month old son. I made the appt in April (before I tested him because I knew what the results would be) and it was a 5 month wait. Well worth seeing him

Listen to this interview:

See www.hansacenter.com and get Dr. J's books...

My daughter has been ill for 10 years and nothing worked until this.

Antibiotics are not the answer.

Hi Marina,

I am in the same position as you. I have a daughter that just got a blood test done that indicated Lyme. I live in Monmouth county and am looking for a specialist. Were you able to find one? Please let me know.

Thanks a lot,

Gloria
