OK - I know this is really out there, but I happened to read two articles today on different topics and both mentioned nematode worms.

I was told that I have a chicken meat allergy in March of this year. Weird because I have eaten chicken all my life. I cut all chicken out of my diet and have been feeling much better overall.

I recently started a new medication for depression, stress. I was experiencing shortness of breath, so I stopped taking the meds for one day and shortness of breath went away. I called the treating dr. She said that it could not be my new medication because it has a 30 day half life and would still be in my system. So...I thought long and hard and found that the pizza I ate had chicken meat in the sausage.

I did some research and found an article that stated that some people who have allergic reactions to chicken are actually allregic to nematode worms and that these worms are in the fish meal that is fed to chickens. The worms withstand cooking temperatures and small traces of them are found in the chicken.

The weird coincidence is that I just read in Cure Unknown, that nematode worms have been found in ticks with borrelia, but that scientists did not know what role they played in Lyme infection or co-infection.

Strange coincidence? Any thoughts from anyone???

This is really interesting. There always seems to be something new when it comes to lyme disease. It does makes sense that the allergy to chicken would be to the worms.

What do these worms do exactly? Then maybe you could find the link to the bacteria. Maybe the worms feed of the bacteria or the bacteria feeds of the worms? Or the bacteria uses the worms for protection against imunesystem response?

Nematode worms are round worms and there are literally thousands of varieties.

These worms, like lyme can get into tissue, and organs, just like they do in animals.

I still have no idea what the link is but just seemed too coincidental to not mention it to anyone.

I read something about this also. Nematode worms that is and their connection to Lyme ticks. As an interesting by note. The Amish farmer we are buying our homestead from told us that he uses Garlic exclusively to treat his livestock for worms of all types. It's natural and Very effective. Since there is a 'parasite' connection to Lyme, I started taking two garlic tablets a day. I also give them to my husband to help with his URI and it seemed to do some good. Get the 'low odor/no odor' tabs if you want to give it a try.

Garlic is one of the strongest and most effective of the herbs. It is one of the most powerful herbs for the treatment of antibiotic resistant disease. Grapefruit seed extract is next.

I have read a couple articles about the nematodes comes from ticks with the lyme and co-infections. They said that the nematodes protect the bacteria, so that is sometimes the reason why it can be hard to treat lyme.

This link below is interesting, but it doesn't look like all of it is accurate. The author of it treated her lyme and co-infections with just sea salt and vitamin C. She claims the sea salt kills the nematodes like how salt kills normal worms.

Interesting, but I would have to question the connection between sodium and hypertension. Personally, I would be retaining more water than Hover Dam if I consumed that much salt...or stroke out.

Lyme or Stroke...sorry, I'd rather fight Lyme I think. At least I have a chance to beat that.

Oh My God!Im thankful I ate dinner first. Kind of a really nasty thought that traces of worms can make it threw all this and on to our plates.
