I have contact dermatitis, and I am needing to use a topical steroid cream to calm it down. Does anyone know if it would be ok to use it just for a couple of days?! Thank you!

Susan

I don't know. I break out from everything. I'm very sensitive and even if I have to wrap my knee in an Ace bandage or something similar, I will break out. But since I found out I have Lyme, I don't use it...not the sprays or any of my creams.

I'm curious to find an answer to this question, too.

Hi Susan, Since the use of steroids will be on your skin, it would be my thought that it would be fine to use. It's the steroids that go in to your system (taken orally), that allow the bacteria to run wild in your body, that cause a problem.

If nothing else, you can do a search on your own to find a for sure answer.

Hope this helps!! Ruth

Hi Ruth, That was what I was thinking as well. I just wanted to be cautious considering. I was hesitant at first, but I have used it for the past day and a half and so far so good. My immune system has already taken a hit due to the reaction, so I have felt horrible. I had to do something. Thank you again for your info!! Take care and have a great weekend!

Susan
