My inflammatory symptoms came back again this week. Last night, my leg got swollen and started to cramp. The swelling has since gone down, but the cramping hasn't.

I saw my primary care doctor today, and they once again referred me to a rheumatologist and told me that it's probably Raynaud's Disease. They said it's nothing vascular, because I haven't had tissue die-off in my leg yet! They wouldn't refer me to a vascular doctor or order any tests on my leg. My LLMD also didn't seem concerned when I saw her last week.

So I don't know what to do - do I have to wait for tissue to die now? I'm miserable, in a lot of pain, and scared of what is going on. What do I do?

I get a lot of weird cramping too, I don't tend to swell that much with it though. What types of meds are you taking? I'm just not sure if it might be something that the meds are doing and/or that you aren't taking enough anti-inflamatory/detox stuff.

I'm taking doxy and azithromycin. Maybe I'm not taking enough detox stuff, I'm not sure. I started taking turmeric extract pills every day (2-3 times) to reduce inflammation, but I'm not sure what else I can do.

Yeah, I do take a probiotic every day...I try to drink a lot of water and cranberry juice when I can, but I don't think any of the bacteria are going away... Sad

cramping might be due to not enough magnesium.

Just because you have not had a "tissue die off" does not mean that it is not a vascular issue. I have not heard of such a thing. They should have ordered a doppler study just to be on the safe side. I would get the appointment with the Rhuemy just because he/she will know more. It is not going to hurt at this point. It sounds as if you are doing everything you can possibly do. I would elevate your leg when you can. Keep us posted on how you are doing.

Yeah, I think the whole thing is insane. I called my family MD, whom I despise at this point, to ask again for a test. My cardiologist's office will do the test, and it is possible that I can get my cardio to refer me for it, but I feel like my family MD should do it out of principle!
