Has anyone been sick for over 8 months straight. I am beginning to think this isnt going to end. I have been sick with over 20 symptoms for over 8 months straight. I maybe had 5 good days this whole year. I have tried everything I just dont know what else I can do. I am waiting to see someone who can treat the babesia since I just found out I was positive for that and never treated for it. Any one have any input that would be great thanks

Squeezy,

The Babs has to be treated first before the Lyme will improve. My oldest has this and for the first 15 years was only treated for Lyme. Didnt really get much better. Within the last year we found out she had Babs and now that is being treated. Thats a hard one and I wont sugar coat it and say its been an easy road but after 6+ months she says its getting a bit better. We are hoping that once the Babs is treated that treating the Lyme will be a walk in the park by comparison. We shall see.

squeezy...

I was infected at 7 - and after a few months it went quiet - then spiked with the death of my brother when I was 11 - tapered a little - then hit hard when I was 13 - and I have been battling it ever since...

I have only had an 8 month period where I was nearly symptom free...my 2nd pregnancy wasnt too bad...

But I have never been in remission...I have gone for years straight - just sick all of the time - then months on and off...

It fluctuates - I am going to be 36 in December...It has been a LONG LONG time...

My brother has suffered his entire life with autism - only to learn within the past year that it was brought on by lyme & babs...he is only 18...had we have known in 91 - he could be so much better then now...

My two sisters - have struggled their entire lives with learning disabilities...even thought to have low IQ's - when in fact they are the opposite...but their brains have been heavily fogged by Lyme and Bart...causing them much struggle...and they are only 14 & 19

You are going to take much much longer to get better then it took to get sick...some are lucky and recover quick - but many of us fight and fight for years and years...

It sucks - and makes us angry - its just not fair...but it is what it is...

Work on your body - feed it the way it needs to be fed - at some point you will see a difference...

Christine

Time to put my life back together right now" Eminem Not Afraid
