I just recently started to have troulbe walking and really bad leg pains/weakness. Is this due to lymes or could I also have MS too? I'm worried I may have both. Anyone eles have troulbe walking and or MS too? I aslo have plus 4 reflexes my neuro is doing more MRI's but I failed all my neuro test. Could this just be due to Lymes? Neuro doesn't treat my lymes. I went to Neuro for 2 opinion on MS. What do ya all think???

some doctors say MS is actually untreated lyme. that being said, I don't know that if you start treating lyme that MS would go away or diminish or if the damage has been done. I do have trouble walking at times too, it's like my hips lock up. I know many lymies have neuro issues as well, it's not uncommon. also, if you have MRI's of the brain, a lot of times lyme is misdiagnosed as MS because there can be lesions on the brain from the lyme, and to an untrained doc, it would appear very much like MS lesions
Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

Hi. I think it is the lyme disease. I have terrible trouble walking because I have osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia from lyme disease.I have started to use a cane(which I hate using).
