I found it interesting, a friend of mine came across a brochure from years ago, early 90's , it said

"doctors aren't sure what causes fibromyalgia, but it is thought that a virus or bacteria could trigger it"

interesting, as I swear fibro doesn't exist like we think, I think it's a SYMPTOM, NOT A SYNDROME, a huge

percent of people who "have" fibro, turn up having lyme too. Unfortunatly, many of them don't want to believe that.

Luckily I've caught a few fibro pts and begged them to be tested,...they came back positive, and are in treatment now.

Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

Hi everyone!

I'm fairly new here in the forum and getting lots of good info, love and support...

I got my son tested thru IgeneX, but they don't seem to want to explain how many bands showed on the + ones or Ind. Does the number of + on each test indicate the number of bands or at least it's related?

I'll PM you Jaime. About my son's test results.

He was + for IgM but negative for Bartonella and IgG and he is symptom free...

Im going to have this done next week what constitutes a positive test? And if this test comes back negative then Im back to square one again. I will let everyone know but let me know the parameters for positive test. I plan on being tested for lyme and all coinfections.

the tests are not confirmatory, however are evidence. don't get hung up on positive/negative due to the unreliability of the tests. search the net and/or this forum. there are great articles out there. if you are seeing a LLMD ,you will have a great chance of being diagnosed/treated properly. here is one link that may help. http://www.anapsid.org/lyme/wb.html.
