Hey all,

I know i have not been on here in awhile, but with my new job I am working ALL the time. Last week ( 2 days after my bday) I caught the awful flu going around. of course you all know with lyme any infection is 10 times worse thanks to lyme. So I was out for the count.

Well the flu symptoms are gone but now I am just very weak and tired...and just feel aggitated mostly. I dont know if maybe it is all the cold weather or the lyme, but I just want to be in bed, I just feel sad. Not the happy, cheery person I normally am.

Just struggling... i just want to sleep for like 5 days haha.

Does anyone else get "worse" in the winter? I seem to always feel more sad and tired during this time...

I do! I remember getting in trouble in school for 'staying in bed' because getting out in the cold weather was sooo tough on my joints. I took detention instead. Of course, I didn't know I had Lyme.

I live in Dallas - it's a 'wet' cold here - it's awful for us Lymies!!!

Hope you feel better soon!

Welcome KendraM. I'm toughing this too. I'm glad its not as cold as

some places in New York. These NYorkers laugh at us cause we cant

handle alittle cold here.

On you tube it showed a joint audio where this india lady suffers like

as lymies. At the very end she talks of an oil doctor gives her and

now she says it helps her. She kepted saying cayeene pepper in recipe. One formula looks like boswellia (for pain).

exotic herb take whenever with no side effects and cannot hurt the

liver. And tumeric herb which good for inflammation.

Tumeric good for a lot of health issues.

and alot of other stuff.

Maybe worth taking a look.

Kendra, I've been saying this all thru fall and winter, I've been miserable. I live in ohio, and it's been cold and wet here for months. It would be one thing if it would just get cold and snow at least it would be a dryer cold, but the 40 degrees and rainy is a nightmare. Aside from the overcast , and SAD (seasonal affective disorder)....

I know any extra germs going around affect us so much more, it's aweful. make sure you keep up on immune system building supplements, garlic, olive leaf extract, lots of C, B complex, extra B12, astragulus is a great one too. And if you need to rest, then rest. Your body heals during rest. Even if you can't fall asleep, just laying there to rest is good.

hang in there honey, and post here if you need anything, that's why we are here.

Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

I also read that Lymies tend to be more sensitive to cold anyway. Winter is not on our side.

You might try B12 injections or pills to give you a little more get up and go. I think everyone's joint are worse in the cold.
