Is it basically a multi-vitamin or are you taking a bunch of different things?

For the most part taking supplements with treatment is fine...

But the real key is to eat better and obtain your nutrients through your foods...that is why I often stress to people to get on a whole food supplement - so that they can get the higher doses of fruits and veggies that our bodies need.

Ideally 10-12 servings of fresh fruits and veggies (for some more veggies then fruits)...is what our bodies need. As raw as possible....that is how our bodies are designed to digest and process food...

Vitamins that are manufactured are limited in their ability to provide us with what they need...but whole foods are the goodies packaged as close to natural as possible...

But you should be fine taking supplements - and mag is something that your body is often deficient in...so eat well in conjunction with whatever you take.

And be sure to detox...

Christine

I'm on Omnicef, which is in the same family of drugs as Ceftin, and I have to not take any vitamins within 2 hours of taking that antibiotic. I know magnesium and iron are specifically listed, but my papers also 'any vitamin or mineral.' Not sure if that applies to your antibiotic also...maybe your pharmacist would know?

I was also told to take any vitamins and supplements two hours apart from my antibiotics.

Definitely talk to the pharmacist - Totally forgot about that - was being hurried by the hubby...

Supplements, Abx, Naturals - it is important to be sure about the spacing of doses and combos and such...

It is SOOOO much easier to take things all at once - I AM SOOOOOOO guilty of that...

With Rx's always consult a pharmacist - he/she should know...
