Sci Krissy Kellogs Jaime, LA Jamie, Christine, Uncle RON! Bad weather all over the state will have to shut down, it's flooding and we get struck by lighting every time and lose our DSL or phone/etc. Then, this girl will be running the generator stranded in the am going back and forth with extension cords and so on and so forth. Tornadoe warnings and have touched down in different spots, I don't have a clue, I am too busy here.. But- I have msgs from all of you guys! I am okay and y'all down here keep me posted. Text me. Has hurricane season started already?

I am watching water rise and we are high! Well on high ground. The other 'high' would be nice at times too..Especially during hurricane seasonSmile

Everybody come take my hand
We'll walk this road together, through the storm
Whatever weather, cold or warm
Just let you know that, you're not alone
Holla if you feel that you've been down the same road...
And I just can't keep living this way
So starting today, I'm breaking out of this cage
I'm standing up, Imma face my demons
I'm manning up, Imma hold my ground
I've had enough, now I'm so fed up
Time to put my life back together right now" Eminem Not Afraid

Aw, well I can delete this but, could leave it now that this will happen every OTHER day! You'll see me do this every time, Katrina did me in.

The yards are flooded, it's quiet, no thunder. Later when branches and trees start falling on wires THEN we may have power issues. Just off a bit in the middle of the night. So, I am here with William and his 100 degree temp after 3 hrs sleep. What a nightSmile

Lyme is rare. Was that sarcasm? It's rare on paper just like everywhere else! I thought you were in Burlington as I was sure I asked and did mention Ancaster. Yes I would be there in a second if I could.

lyme is rare because it is not tested for nor diagnosed.

I had to ask for testing.

Believe me I have seen enough rain this year for a lifetime. Problem in our part of the state is that all the rain is detrimental to the crops being planted, Mainly corn these days for ethanol. We are on high ground also, but much of the land up here is low along the Mississippi River. We are considered delta also. Roads and pastures under in many places.

The tornadoes that touched down in Mississippi were only about 60-70 miles from us. We had tornadoes come through last night also, no damage that I have seen yet.

This time of the year seems to be worse than hurricane season most of the time. I hate that most of the bad weather comes through between 10:00 pm and 3:00 am , makes for a long night.

Canuck brace yourself for another round tonight...I know that we are supposed to get more....many rivers and lakes are overflowing.Shocked
