"For my good friend Makayla who has been struggling with lyme disease for 4 years..." (AbbyJean)

MDJunction to me

"I have been struggling with Fibromyalgia, Bipolar, Anxiety, Post traumatic Syndrome for quite some time and pretty much going it alone. I stumbled across MDJunction by accident. I stayed in the shadows and just watched for four days and then I joined, feeling relieved and excited to have found a safe place with alot of folks that I could relate to . It's proove to be medically and emotionally
helpful to me and now I can't go a day without coming in at least 4 or five times a day! I Love my family here.

I just watched this video and I started to cry, but these teenages also make me very proud

Victoria Wilcox, with the help of some other children, made this short video for a class project. They want people to learn more about Lyme disease and how it affects their lives.

To see their amazing project, click here:

Victoria and Sara Lynch, along with the Corning/Finger Lakes Area Chapter of the Lyme Disease Association, are putting on a Lyme Walk to be held Saturday, June 7, 2008.

amazing. I cried the whole way thru it. Everything is so true. GOD why doesn't our world wake up...I just want to scream! How did AIDS patients do it? How did they get the attention they deserved, and now are living forever, they have the right meds, what did they do.... this is just BS we are living this way. We are finding our own ways thru this muck. We know more than our doctors, we are paying ridiuclous amounts of money to get well because our insurance companies that WE PAY EACH MONTH won't cover us.... aaaaahhhhh
Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

I am in tears as I write this. I feel so much pain for these children. My three young children also watched this with me. They are upset, too. What can I do to help these people? I agree that it is total BS we have to live this way. But there is hope and help... I found my way with the help of a compassionate doctor. I wonder if I should make a you-tube video of my recovery????

Open your mind to the possibilities available to you.

An attitude of gratitude is good 'medicine,' too.
