I am very unwell as most know

But lately I am have been trying to do some "soul searching" so to speak.

I am at a point in life that most everything has fell apart completely.

Personal life is almost done.I am on my way to be alone and divorced soon because this has tore me apart.

so I need to try something different.I have never tried Natural and Im thinking I should.

main reasons-are I believe I have systemic yeast and know I have other viruses.

The abx feed it and dont think that this would be good.I will be developing another major issue on top of all this other mess Im in.

I dont believe I have heard anything about naturals feeding yeast and others so I would think this would only mean something good....right?

so I need some good wholesome advice...I cant afford tomake the wromg decision again

in all honesty,I cant even handle a simple detox remedy or food without feeling so bad I can hardly see straight

also now know I dont detox...so this is another reason why Im so torn on what to do.

I know there all gonna kill stuff off and ultimately I gotta get detoxing some way....but I think the abx will make my sick sick body that cant detox-have to work even harder

looking for advice of what you guys would do if you were me and found out you cant even detox

I'm an Advocate

want...

Sweetie you have to go with your gut on this...

Issues with yeast can certainly lessen on naturals...

I would say yes tho...to give it a try...and there are A LOT of things to look at...and remember that like conventionals...not everything will work with you...

I can only take Samento for about a month...then it does nothing...so for me it is good for flares...

The one that really did it for me was Spiro (no longer in a tincture Sad)...when my mother and siblings tried it...1 drop in 32 oz of water...it was still too strong for them and caused them to herx like crazy...

So you will need to consider all of your natural options...some can go with strict protocols like BWF or the Nutrimedix line...cowden...etc...Others have to really tweak these and find the specific things that work best for them...

So it will still be a shuffle...unless you get lucky right off the bat...

Another thing you can try with regard to detoxing...is try starting out with drinking 4 glasses (8 oz) first thing after waking up (room temp)...then brush your teeth and rinse...don't eat for 45 minutes...

This can help to get things moving within your digestive system...and the warm water will be less taxing on your guts...your body won't have to speed up to process it...

And continue with half your weight in ounces daily...your body needs this...

Hang in there

Christine

ughh...so what should I do if I am gonna go natural?

I mean should I go in and tell the llmd I need guidance Im going natural? do I shoot for any line Cowden, byron, or whatever else (just purely wing it) with brands and protocol or are they best at telling us whats what?

at this point seems they just guess anyway.

pay them to see whats gonna work then they tell you how to use it properly to treat this crap i guess

Hi wanthealth12,

I am new to the forum but am a long time lymes/babesia survivor of going on 12 years now. Let me first tell you what has worked for me in terms of detoxification as I myself suffer from poor detoxification.

Epsom salt baths I have found very effective mostly because I think that the magnesium is great for my gut and nervous system and I take a 100mg supplement each day to help support myself in the long term. I find that even though my condition makes me sweat a bunch (especially at night) that it does not do much for my detoxification.

When I feel really toxed, I often take a magnesium laxative combined with a good fiber supplement to really eliminate toxins from my gut. CVS makes a convenient magnesium/fiber supplement for a 14 day detox which ive found effective. Be careful not to over do it on the magnesium in whatever form as taking too much will give you diarrea and diarrea will lead to a lower level of magnesium. This therapy is a double edged sword in this respect, but starting slow and knowing your limit is essential.

As for other detox therapies, I have found that milk thistle and strong anti-oxidants like green tea, vitamin C and the strongest ive found: Glutathione. The milk thistle helps support liver detoxification and the anti-oxidants help deal with the effect of the toxins in your system. I find that most of my inflammatory and pain symptoms are a result of oxidative stress from the toxins and combating the stress is essential in one way or another.

I feel the same way that I cant even detox sometimes but say vigilant and try different remedies. You will find something that works for you but be careful when starting a new therapy and start slow.

In terms of bio-targeted naturals, I feel they are essential to a successfully recovery because of their antiviral/bacterial properties but mostly because of their ability to strip away biofilm. I personally use the BWF, A-L but also supplement it with some other naturals I have found successful for me in the past. In addition to A-L, I take cat's claw and clove extracts. Cat's claw is pretty benin to me but clove (especially the oil) can be very caustic so watch how you feel and start slow. I believe that because it is so caustic it is very effective on the biofilm.

While bio-targeted naturals go a long way to fight the baddies and suppress my symptoms they are in no means a substitute for ABX. Always talk with your LLMD when starting an ABX or naturals regime. Mine recommends taking some bio naturals during a round of ABX but your doc might feel differently based on your condition.

The bottom line in bio-targeted naturals is that it does take a bit of tweaking to see what you respond to as an individual. BWF and other combined formulations are a good place to start as like a shotgun they can hit a lot of effective naturals all at once but you should look to branch out and try a few to see how you react. I believe trying a few different bio-targeted naturals is an effective way to go as I believe they are much more safe than taking multiple ABX. Again, discuss any therapy changes with your LLMD even if it is bio-targeted naturals and see what they recommend if they are into bio naturals.

I hope this helps and stay strong,

Justin

You cannot heal your body with abx alone.

Lyme and all illnesses breaks down the body, blocked the detox pathways and taxes the immune system. Not to mention, abx tax the immune system the most.

The next logical step is to boost your immune system naturally, clean our your detox pathways, so you can allow the body a clean terrain to heal.

Lyme causes our terrain to be "dirty" and non function, so change in diet, exercise, herbs, supplements, vit's etc are imperative.
