I was just treated for Lyme this past March and I'm almost done with my Lymesode bottle. I had Lyme in 2007 and I guess this month is the third time.

But during a weekend bbq party this past saturday I got bitten by a lot of mosquitoes. All bites except one turned out to be a bulls eye rash. No ticks were found.

I went to the doctor and I'm back on abx.

Is it possible to get lyme from mosquitoes? or could a mosquito bite trigger remaining Lyme within me to come out and resurface?

This is very frustrating and confusing to me.

Yes and Yes...

Any biting insect can carry Lyme and other infections...

And it has been found in mosquitoes...

You may have reacted so quickly because you are still treating...that and your immune system has woken up to the disease...

GO with the treatment...and keep going until you have no symptoms for 2-3 months...

Like Christine said, my LLMD says ticks, fleas, mosquitoes, horse flies, and I think spiders carry Lyme.

Now I have been reading that possibly lice, and bed bugs carry Lyme as well.

Hopefully since you were treating at the time if the bite, you will kick this infection fast!

For many people the symptoms do get better, with treatment and just over time. Do you have a counselor or case manager, or even family member who can help with your budget? Lots of people are bad with money. No shame in needing or asking for help until you get the swing of it Smile.

A lot of people struggle with money! There is no shame in needing/asking for help with that until you get the swing of it Smile. Do you have a counselor, case manager or family memeber you could ask? There are probably a lot of books about it as well.

Walashunas, I understand how hard it is to ask for help, I would hide in a cupboard rather than ask for help, but I realised a while back that I am not getting any where just going in circles. I to need to be accountable, to help push me to make changes and not do stupid things... Oh I am good at doing stupid things....

I am using a community therapist, I have read a lot of posts suggesting the same in the US....

I hope you seek some help soon...

Light..
