Every time I pulsed ABXs, I would also get a fever. Yes, this means your immune system is responding & starting to react to the infections. In theory, infections do not cause you to have a fever, it's your body's immune system fighting the infections that causes the fever. If a person's immune system is severely compromised, it will shut down & not respond because it is too weak.
