UPDATE: NO BLOOD CLOT!

THANK YOU ALL ABOVE FOR YOUR PRAYERS/MESSAGES; too many names to name; forgive me Wink love you all!

they had 4 xrays taken of my leg/ankle/foot area thinking i had FRACTURED my shin bone, etc .... NOPE.

the had ULTRASOUND to rule out a blood clot! after dr. said he was going to do that during my brief 5 min. with him as he was leaving in 15 min. from his shift, i remembered the severe problems i had after my hip replacement surgery.

I HAD A BLOOD CLOT after that; she started pressign down hard on my groin area then; told her i couldn't proceed; pain was excruciating.

so nurse came in and i told her my concerns about what i would be doing to check out about possible blood clot. she said just tell the woman to use as LIGHT A TOUCH as possible and they had to do the ENTIRE LEG; not just from knee down.

so last night started same way; horrible pain in groin area and i told her so. she was using as LIGHT as possible, then finally she started going down the vein area and the pain was NOT there making it tolerable.

however she hit my shin bone area of 5-6" where i fell really bad 1 wk. ago. told her so, so she asked where she could push and i showed her; worked better then.

her massage like table was so comfy i started falling asleep.

i had a private room in ER; but a bed/chair like thing i'd never experienced and NO ONE showed me how to get comfy in it and to get my FEET OFF THE FLOOR FOR ELEVATION!

dr. was good, caring, good listener. he offered rx pain pills, but none have worked in the past so declined using my ALEVE only helps me.

RESTRICT MYSELF HERE ON PC TO SHORT TIME ONLY! so that is what this is going to be now.

he felt underneath the bruises that finally became apparent the last 2 days was a pool of blood there. so that's why he ordered the ultrasound.

i said i'd elevated my legs since this happened but only knee high. WRONG, NEEDS TO BE UP TO MY HEART!!

swelling is horrible in my r. foot/leg.

shin bone area got this excruciating pain towards the end of when i was on here yesterday. it was after 5 pm, so i called their AFTER HRS. no. for 1 time..

due to the pain, he transferred me to 1st nurse; they got all the medical history and were able to bring up my computerized file in 1 minute plus all my meds.

when i stated the pain was as bad as some i'd had after my many surgeries, they wanted me to come to ER.

told her i hadn't eaten; go ahead and eat then come in.

left here 730 and got home 10 pm.

i'm to ELEVATE ABOVE HEART; so hubby thought of using a thick couch cushion seat adn pillows above that; so that's what we did.

i slept out in sofa recliner with this thign. couldn't stand it any longer and went to bed 530 am taking this monstrosity with me. so hard to stretch out and get comfy with this all.

finally getting some sleep then discovered across st. neighbor was having a GARAGE SALE with doors slamming galore all morning.

so i dressed and went over to see what he had for sale since i couldn't sleep with all slamming of doors.

ended up buying $36 worth of wedding fancy photo frames, archival photo books, a surge protector, and a wrought iron narrow thing for me to put all my CD/DVDS nearby computer. HAVEN'T FIGURED OUT WHERE!? uffda.

said for me to use crutches or a walker to NOT put weight on this swollen leg/foot.

i took my newspaper and many magazines since you never know about waiting times, but i didn't even get all the paper read, takes 30 min. tops.

my leg was also running a FEVER; same thing as my other leg did after my hip surgery, so i wanted to get this checked out; pain was just horrible.

1 wk. ago i went to an area TALENT SEARCH CONTEST to watch the little ones to age 21 perform/sing for 2 hrs. walked into the hs theater aud. and lights were all out. hardly any places left to sit.

notice some in an UPPER ROW, but could NOT SEE THE LARGE STEP AT ALL.

fell down on r. shin area and could not get up on my own. asked a man to help me; he did.

my shin just stung for a good hr. couldn't have my slack material on it, so pulled them up giving it plenty of air.

i did call that city's chamber of commerce following mon. about my fall. did i hurt myself? leg hurts but no damage i could see or feel.

i suggested they put special tape where step is so it stands out in the dark. she'd pass along my tip to person in charge.

anyone watch the INCREDIBLE HULK; that's how my foot/leg/shin feel ... skin tight.

anyway, thanks for the prayers that it wasn't a blood clot; had enough of that 5 yrs. ago when i had to give myself painful stomach injections for that clot!

will read my other email and then signign off. i'll be in BRIEFLY and then off again.

so DON'T COUNT ON ANY INFO FROM ME FOR NOW FOLKS; laid up good. no way to be here and get my leg elevated to my heart in my small bedroom corner.

hugs/prayers for thinking of me during my own personal needs for a change.

thanks my friends,
