Hello, Im battling Lyme as well as Systemic candidiasis. I just started the Doxy again and having really bad herx's, but Im not sure they are related to the Lyme or Yeast. If anyone knows if there is a difference in the symptoms, as well as the best probiotic and the best time to take Probiotics. Im also currently having a dental cleanup with alot of mercury to remove. I would appreciate anyone that might have info for me. Thanks so much, this is miserable

Hi there, My LLMD liked Iflora probiotic and I found the best time to take it was 2 hours before my evening meds. Never take probiotics and Antibiotics at the same time.

As far as yeast, I took diflucan daily for the entire time I was on ABX. Towards the end of that I started to alternate every other day. I am very prone to yeast infections and this helped greatly but created dry mouth.

Drink lots of water, some with lemon and remember to detox your body as often as possible. Besides water with lemon to do this , I also use epsom salt baths nightly

I like custom probiotics....best I've found and works very well for me. I take two in the morning and two in the evening before bed. That is 200 billion CFUs. I'm actually upping to three in the am and three in the pm.

I take the adult formula.

The pills are 50billion CFUs each and we need a very high dose of probiotics. Lyme patients usually have very unhealthy bowels and it will take to heal....even after finishing abx.

As for symptomsgo, so many of them overlap it is hard to tell. How is your diet? Are you on the candida diet?

Feels like everyday I'm alone. Not because I don't have any friends around me at the time, just because no one understands what I really feel like everyday.

I pretend to be happy so I don't have to explain myself to people who'll never understand.

Tooth,

My LLMD refuses to prescribe Diflucan anymore (stopped in November) - she feels it may be bad for the liver (though my bloodwork has shown healthy liver throughout my treatment both with and without Diflucan...).

Any ideas for helping to convince her to prescribe for me? I've felt the difference without it and it's not good Sad I'd been taking it once a week.

Hugs,

JJ
