Hi everyone:

I am new to the board, After 10 years of suffering with a dx's of Lupus, which i did not ever agree, I took it upon myself to go see a specialist in the Lymes, sure enough thats what i had. After I was given some antibiotics I am now feeling better. However, now I have a gnawing sensation which is leaving behind cysts that feel like bricks. I had a few of these cysts biopsied. These cysts had a jelly like substance in them. What i need answered is what is the gnawing, grabbing sensation i feel in my abdomen and what antibiotic can i use to get rid of it. [b]I have cysts like hard masses in my abdomen, lemon size masses. I feel this sensation with make my entire abdomen one solid mass, and I will surely die. Please, is there someone out there that this has happened to after a tick bite. I feel like my days a numbered.

Lisa

I wish I had answers for you. I don't know if it's the lyme going into cyst form or other cysts. I know I have had a lot of tumors since having lyme, and cysts on my ovaries...over 5cm in size. ARe you taking things to build your immune system? You must take supplements and make sure you take probioitics, to replace the good bacteria in your gut. I wish I had more of an answer for you.

Is it possible to get infected with heartworms along with lyme disease.. I have what feels like a tapeworm wrapping around my chest and back, it makes my chest feel heavy with pain in the lungs, when i lay down at times, my heart beats very fast, i'm in a lot of pain mainly in my upper back and chest and neck. I dont know what i am dealing with anymore, this has to be more than just lymes.

I never had any cysts simialar to what you describe. I did have a rapid heart beat (especially when lying down and trying to sleep.) I also had a lot of pain on the left side of my chest (espcially when I would lean forward). I do not know which infection to blame for this problem that I had (i had lyme, ehrlichia, babesia, bartonella and HHV-6 (IgM) and HHV-7.

It may be more than Lyme. Have you been tested for coinfections? Regardless, this sounds very serious. I would get this checked out ASAP. I also had a lot of pain in my upper back and neck. A lot of pain between my shoulder blades. It used to hurt to breathe.

I'm better now. I hope you get to the bottom of this really soon.

I agree with Jaime regarding probiotics and supplements to build your immune system.

Warm regards,

Lymie

tapeworm is a possibility, all of the parasite type things. There are parasite clenses you can do to rid your body of them. Did you ever figure out the cysts??

I'm not convinced that the cysts are necessarily related to the Lyme. If I were you I would contact my doctor and have an MRI done of the cysts or perhaps a biopsy to see what they are. There are people out there that just spontaneously grow cysts throughout there body and there is no real explanation for it. My father is one of them. He has three at the moment. I know that it is scary but I'm sure it is something that can be taken care of once it is properly diagnosed.
