I don't believe the FDA has approved the RHP or Eboo therapy whereby the blood is removed oxygenated then returned. Not being in the USA though I can't say absolutely. Where we are going has a lyme protocol with detoxing, rife therapy, vitamin C plus plus plus to drive the Lyme out of the tissues and organs. It is going to take 2 months of treatment full-time - but antibiotics- herbs and the roundabout of up and and down with high liver enzymes and so it goes has driven us to find this treatment.. We have also been having great immune support with Acupuncture and the blood letting has also helped. When you see your blood black instead of cherry red the colour it should be you realise that the toxic environment your health is flowing in will never improve until you clean it. I have never read or seen where anyone actually gets better from the abx or herbal remedies unless they are treated immediately after their bite. A x 2 - 4 week window is apparently what you have otherwise it takes years and recently been told that after treating for 2 years whatever you have at that point is what you have forever. Not good.

Maybe that is a different type of therapy from the ozone IV my doc does.

I'm sure you're right.

Let us know if the therapy you are going through is successful.

I would love to stay away from ABX if possible.

He was cured with ABX.

He was dying and diagnosed with MS before he finally found a doc that diagnosed him properly with lyme.

After many years of ABX and other things...

He is okay.

Hi Courious I note you are having the Vitamin C Injections, to become ozone in the blood you also need to be taking salt as well- you have probably read where a lot of people take the vit c and salt therapy for lyme- just vitamin c on its own isnt ozone therapy.

This is what I hate about lyme, it is so complicated- you have the l form and cyst form and different coinfections- We have been sick for 9 months and for one reason or another have had to back off this and that treatment because of increased enzyme levels from the toxicity in the liver and blood. Tom Grier may have gotten rid of his lyme with ABX but he is one of the very few I have heard success stories about- Abx and herbs are great but - it is a very long road- with them after 9 months we have only been able to treat the l form havent even started on the cyst form and thats only one coinfection. Everyone is out to make a buck - do some research on ozone therapy other than IV as well. have you ever noticed your lyme is worse around a full moon ? So many I know complain of "crashing" becoming worse on the full moon. Crazy.

I will let you know how the treatment goes- its about reclaiming your life I guess- I have just heard from a young 20 yr old that said her Dr will no longer treat her - she says she is anxious and needs antidepressants - doesnt have lyme because it doesnt exist- I sent to her the ilads phsychiatric symptom guide. Rather than refuse treatment I think the Dr needs a personal inviation to ILADS training and remember her oath to help others. . Keep well yourself- whatever it takes.

Don't we know the frustrations of dealing with the traditional med. docs.

It breaks my heart to see such young people having to put their lives on hold because what they have doesn't exist and they can't get it treated.

Sigh.

Curious- Im with you, it seems like everyone who got better with alternative therapy were first on antibiotics.

So thats what I am doing first, with the intention of moving on natural therapies when I have exhausted the benefit from that option.

I have also heard good things about ozone, I have been considering an ozone sauna to add to the mix. If anyone tries ozone please keep us posted!

I heard about ozone sauna too.

I saw people on you tube showing how to do it.

Sounded expensive though.

O2 concentrator and ozone gernerator.

Yes there are all sorts of therapies-and takers- all ready to take your money.

We have a trained Dr here in Lyme who charges $600 an hour to tell you you that you actually have lyme (based on your clinical symptoms) and he is not even a specialist by degree. I hate Drs !

A big significant part of ridding yourselves of lyme is detoxing. I think the initial key to lyme is antibiotic therapy for at least a month from the initial tick bite, a fantastic probiotic as your immune system is fought from the gut-and herbs to help support you. Acupuncture is also another fantastic way of supporting you and blood letting-Think of it this way- If you have a car that needs an oil change and the oil becomes thick and dark and sludgy it becomes run down and won't work. Your body in the same sense is the same. I first hand have seen my husbands blood appear black after the blood letting. He has had capillaries form on the end of his nose which after the blood letting disappeared which were apparently a sign of slow heart function. He had "bruising "on the inside of his fingers and on the tops of his feet -which wasn't bruising - it was a build up of toxins- when the acupuncturist did the blood letting which was thick and BLACK (I photographed)as none would have believed. I understand this is the toxins in his blood from the parasites. When you have a kill off from the antibiotics they release toxins- (herxheimer) these build up- have nowhere to go just make you tired and rundown and the cycle keeps repeating itself. This is why the EBOO therapy is so appealing - your blood is removed and filtered / oxygenated then returned back into your body clean and cherry red- this is done for several weeks and a detox program to drive all the parasites out. Plus other supports as Lyme is very clever.

I will keep you up to date after we start his very comprehensive therapy and treatment. For us - 9 months of no work - antibiotics as toxic as the toxins the lyme releases - every day a lottery as to which way you are going to wake up- lyme + 2 co-infect but only started on one and not even started the cyst form - we have no future on the path we were on - we are now taking our lives back .

Courious you are very lucky having a Dr recommend the IV Ozone- our Dr hasn't even heard of it !

Sorry it has been 40 years - I couldn't begin to imagine- you must feel vindicated after all this time
