For about the last week on and off I have been having some issues in this area. I have had what I think is post-nasal drip, hoarseness, a dry throat and some discomfort in the esophagus. Sometimes I can feel it a little when the food goes down. Is this normal? My LLMD tells me I have probably had Lymes for 20 years or so. Thanks for your help!

Anne - It sounds like you have "YEAST" in your esophagus. I know if I don't follow a proper Candida diet, I have the same issues immediately. Best wishes!!!

Can you tell me how they test for this? I am not currently following any special diet. Thanks for your help!

Anne - 9/10 chance if you test for Candida, you are going to come up negative for it. If you have LD & Co., you can pretty much assume you have yeast. We all do.

Your best bet would be to look into starting a Candida diet & antifungal/yeast supplements.

A Candida diet would be a great idea, like Raven suggested. If you can find an ND in your area that would be a great help.

I think I get a similar feeling like you describe. I started drinking aloe juice twice daily about a year ago. It was the best thing I've ever done. I no longer get esophagus pain.
