"I'm currently being treated for Lyme Disease" (Rena18)

MDJunction to me

Sylvia4648"I have suffered from depression most of my life, but had some long, non-depressed times. The last 16 years have been an on-going, constantly worsening nightmare for me medically, socially and with my family. 11/2008 to the present has been the worst time in my life, and new things just keep piling up. During that time I’ve gone from being mostly homebound to being totally homebound due to the errors of about 2 dozen doctors who overmedicated me so badly that I came home w/ 4 conditions I didn’t go in with. I spent months wanting to die, and finding MDJ may well have saved my life. It’s one of the worst feelings to know that nobody on earth needs you for anything; but now that I’ve been a group leader for awhile, there are people here who need me. Thanks MDJ." (Sylvia4648)

Oh boy, are we having a diarrhea contest? I had diarrhea nonstop for year once I started antibiotics. I was taking plenty of probioitcs, but it made no difference. My lyme doc told me not to worry, to just drink a lot of water. I also have friends whohave have recovered from lyme who had had the trots for a long time.

I never get it anymore. My system seems to back up to strength to handle it. As long as you know that c-diff is not an issue and you are taking good probiotics, I think you will be fine.

Seb, I had the same problem 4-5 months into treatment and then it seemed like one day it stopped. Now I only get it occasionally and very mild compared to what I experienced prior.. exactly like you describe what's happening with you.

I think the flagyl and diflucan helped and I was extremely strict with diet and probiotics like you are doing.

Maybe it's the toxins coming out?

I'm trying to think what else I did differently to get rid of it but honestly can't remember.. it just went away one day.

Hope you feel better,

xoRB

I got it for about 2 weeks too. It only happened in the mornings. I think its beacuse my stomach was empty the night before. The instructions are from my llmd to take ur first dose after the first bite of food before the second bit.

Which means i really have nothing in my tummy. It has since recently stopped a couple days ago. Knkck on wood!
