MDJunction to me

peasha"This has been one of the most supportive places I have ever been. I found MDJ by mistaking looking for drs to help me with my many health issues and since that day over a year ago I have found a tight nit little family that keeps me going when the times are tough and offers me a place of retreat to share my successes and failures with others. I get to see the humor and seriousness of what I experience as well as the resources to learn about my health conditions. Thanks MDJ" (peasha)

Just in the past few days, I have developed a fairly large rash on the aerola part of my right breast.

I am pretty freaked out about it. I don't know whether to just pass it off as another Lyme symptom or to worry about breast cancer or to

just assume it is some sort of heat / fungal thing. Any input???

Can you see an obgyn or a dermatologist?
Dxd March 2012 with Lyme, Babesia, and suspected Bartonella, after suffering for 4 years, and possibly having it even longer. Same as most others, I have suffered with a long list of terrible symptoms.
Also have POTS, RA and Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. Working with a LLMD.

I freaked out when I looked at my back in the mirror. My whole back was filled with small red spots. Some of them looked like pimples but I never had a problem with pimples before. These red spots are also in my face (which I hate the most)

To sum up; Lyme will give you all kinds of skin problems. I am actually surprised that you dont have any more rashes maybe that is something you can celebrate.

Hi Kim, I've had the breast rash off and on, on all part of my breasts. I think I finally found the culprit. I've been taking Yeastease for candida for about a year, then they changed the formula and added organic apple cider vinegar instead of organic alcohol.

I think that sometimes your body builds up a allergic reaction to the herbs/abx that you've been taking a while and wallah your body breaks out in rash/hives/bumps. I've had them all.

So, I stopped taking it the other day, and I'm not getting the rash/hives. I think the formulas was also reacting to other herbal formulas that I'm taking too. So, it's a matter of deduction. Sometimes, you have to stop everything and then start adding things back in.

Best wishes, and I hope the rash goes away soon. Suzy

Yes, I will most likely be making an appointment with a dermatologist ... I've been wanting to do that about other skin issues anyway!

As far as it being antibiotic-related, I've only just started my antibiotic about 2 full days ago and the rash has progressively gotten worse over the past week, I would guess. *sigh*

I would lean toward possible yeast too...I have a friend who has had rashes on the breast...and they were yeast related...

But always be on the safe side and get to a doc...

Thank you all! I know there is a very rare form of Breast Cancer called Paget's that starts with a rash around the nipple, so that is my fear. Probably is just a yeast thing but can't help but worry! Wink
