A few weeks ago I woke up with my ear plugged in my right ear, ever day it would be sensitive and my jaw would click, in turn making in worse. A few weeks after this happened I had a huge amount of earwax fall out. And the right ear was progressively getting more and more plugged. Then my left ear started a few days later. Everything that happened with my right ear, happened with my left. The earwax fell out today. And I know it's bound to keep getting worse and worse.

I have no idea if this is Lyme related or if it's built up earwax causing hearing loss, or what it is. I also have not so good congestion, but even when I clear my nose and throat, it doesn't help.

If any of you experienced any of this at all, please let me know your discoveries and what worked (if anything)

Yep! it is called co-infections. I started suffering with both ears back the fall of 2010. After five rounds of steroids (a big NO NO) for lymies and many rounds of antibiotics no progress. After treatment with an LLMD and multiple antibiotics I am very well. Do not go for surgery, etc. because the ent's do not know what else to recommend.

Did your completely go away? And it takes awhile for you to actually lose complete hearing right? I have a lab I have to do in order to get more antibiotics, and I'm scared something drastic will happen beforehand, please calm me with good news that it won't.

You could try ear candling in the meantime, to remove the excess wax. Good luck Smile

Hannah - When my ears would get stopped up like that, I would take a tincture dropper & drop Nano Silver in my ears & hold it in place. The stuffiness would go away immediately. It's not a permanent fix but it does work wonders. Well, for me it did. Good Luck!!!
