Eventually, with advice, support, direction and encouragement from a diverse bunch of genuine people, I began to heal and was able to put myself together as one unified whole. I'm an Advocate

Hello everyone,

Betty is retiring as group leader and we need new leaders to step in & help.

If you’re interested in being one pls contact the one of the leaders or me.

I would also like to use the opportunity to thank Betty for the many years she’s been leading the group, the great help she offered the thousands of people who visit the group every day & I am hoping we’ll all still enjoy her amazing knowledge and willingness to help in the years to come, as a member!

Without a doubt one of the most helpful members in the history of MDJ Wink

Thanks!

roy

Blessings all-

I can see people are reading this announcement, and yet no one is commenting on the fact that Betty is stepping down as a group leader.

Betty, you and I have had our differences in the past, but the fact remains that you have given of yourself above and beyond in so many countless ways for this group. I have always respected you for this and more, despite our differences. Diversity is what keeps things interesting, and we may be different in a lot of ways, be we are all ONE in the end. My love for you was never an issue, it's always there no matter what happens or happened.

I pray that there isn't anything serious going on with you and your husband, and that you are just honoring your need to cut back and spend time together and enjoy life. You both deserve to have quality time with each other, and this will give you that chance finally.

THANK YOU BETTY...thank you for all that you've done for me, for what you've done for this site, and for what you've done for the lyme community as a whole. You're irreplaceable, you will be missed, and you will always be in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you and yours.

peace love and light-kim

All of my advice comes from research and personal experience. I strongly suggest that you each check with your doctor for approval before changing or adding anything to your treatment.

Peace . . . starts within each one of us. When we have inner peace, we can be at peace with those around us. When our community is in a state of peace, it can share that peace with neighboring communities, and so on. When we feel love and kindness towards others, it not only makes others feel loved and cared for, but it helps us also to develop inner happiness and peace. And there are ways in which we can consciously work to develop feelings of love and kindness. For some of us, the most effective way to do so is through religious practice. For others it may be non-religious practices. What is important is that we each make a sincere effort to take our responsibility for each other and for the natural environment we live in seriously.

Yes Betty! Thank you for all of the articles that you have posted and information

and guidance. If it weren't for people like you keeping everyone informed, I could

be dead or paralyzed in bed right now.

Very big thank you and God bless you and your husband......

Betty, you have been amazing. Without your tireless work, service, and seemingly inexhaustable efforts at gathering information, I would not have gotten the treatment I need, nor be anywhere near as well informed.

You will always be a goddess in my book.

Best wishes to you and your husband. Love you!

I am not a doctor, just a patient striving for recovery and hoping to offer support to others, too! Many blessings to you!

Betty, my friend. I love you and am thankful for you in my life as a friend and overall leader in this Lyme community at large. You are a voice to be heard.

And I am very thankful for your advice, the hook up you gave me in my state's Lyme community, which I am very active in as well, and the gentle e-hugs you gave us all.

I know we won't stop seeing you around here. And for that I am grateful. Enjoy your time with your hubby. And don't forget us around here. We love you!

Lauren

Was diagnosed with Autonomic Disorder, POTS, Interstitial Cystitis, and Fibromyalgia. True story is I have late stage Lyme which has caused these things. Just began the fight in October 2011 (have been full-blown Lyme since Sept. 5, 2010), and WILL be victorious! Positive bands: IgG 41 and 60; IgM 23 and 41. CDC positive!

Not a doctor, not anyone of any legal standing... just someone on the search.
