Besides the light sensitivity and tons of floaters, I feel like my eyes are sinking into the middle of my head. I feel like I'm going cross eyed!

I constantly have to try to focus and when I'm not it feel like eyes are working on different levels. Feels like they are being pushed to my nose!

Does anyone have any symptoms like this, it's seriously driving me insane. I got my eyes checked a couple months back and had better than perfect vision 20/15!!!!

I've always had light sensitivity - it hasn't gotten any better with Lyme.

Recently, developed more and more floaters - however, seems to be improving with Babs treatment.

My eyes in general have been very filmy since Lyme - and tired. I've noticed that when I play keyboard at church, for some reason I notice the glazed/tired eyes the most. In addition, I am having to enlarge my music more since Lyme - if I don't it just seems overall uncomfortable. It even adds to my anxiety!

I've been light sensitive for a very long time, and have strange eye issues a lot. It is part of the Lyme and Co, and I hope and pray it gets better! I am told it will through treatment.

My last eye doc appt she said my eyes looked amazing. My optic nerves looked beautiful, perfect, etc. Which only means one thing. It's coming from my brain.

The keets are in my brain, like they are in all chronic lymies. The problem isn't in my eyes, it's in my brain in the sight area.

Sometimes I feel exactly what you described above, and then sometimes (a lot) I feel like it's very hard to concentrate visually. And whatever I'm not looking directly at looks kind of like a hologram-ish type of apparition. It's hard to explain, can anyone understand?

It's all just a huge mess with Lyme + Co.

Have faith and keep your chin up! When in doubt, please get it checked out! Wink

Was diagnosed with Autonomic Disorder, POTS, Interstitial Cystitis, and Fibromyalgia. True story is I have late stage Lyme which has caused these things. Just began the fight in October 2011 (have been full-blown Lyme since Sept. 5, 2010), and WILL be victorious! Positive bands: IgG 41 and 60; IgM 23 and 41. CDC positive!

OH I have had all sorts of eye issues...

The one thing I can help with is the Floaters...

I have found that the Spice Turmeric is GREAT for reducing floaters...

You can buy it at vitamin stores...but personally...I find those to be less effective then going to the grocery store and buying Turmeric in the spice aisle...

The hard part is getting the empty gel caps and making your own pills...

You can take it orally...mixed with about an 1/8th to a 1/4 cup of WARM water...but its not the best tasting thing in the world...and can be hard on the tummy...

But it will help in a variety of other ways too...decreasing inflammation...skin infections will purge...and decrease in pain...its good stuff...OH and helps with Oral (gum/tooth) infections too...

Hope this can help a bit!

Christine

Turmeric also is a HUGE proponent to staving off Alzheimer's and Alzheimer's-like brain deterioration. Wink

Actually, there was woman involved in research with Turmeric, a couple of years back...who had said that research was showing that it was possibly effective in fighting the Lyme bacteria as well...

Unfortunately, I was told this...and was not able to find the info anywhere...so I don't often quote it...but it doesn't hurt to take it if there is a hidden benefit such as that...

This happens to me ALL the time.

It is so annoying. Lyme has affected my vision so bad I can't even explain it.

Light sensitivity, that cross eye feeling, I can't focus my eyes, glasses don't help, floaters, can't see in the dark. Ugh it's terrible! My opthamologist and retinal specialist said there was nothing wrong. I hate that.

I really wish Lyme wasn't so hard to see, I wish they could look at our eyes, ears, joints, anything that's affected and say "Oh, that's Lyme!" instead of "Oh, um you're kind of a hypochondriac. Please don't come back"

Anyway, keep your head up, Ive been having that symptoms for about a year, it comes and goes. I doubt it will be a permanent symptom.

The cross-eyed feeling...I had that...what was happening was my left eye was going all the way to the left...right to the right...DRUNK EYES is what it is called...

I had an eye doctor that added something called Spectrum (I believe that is what it was called) to my script...basically it relieves the muscles of having to strain so hard to focus...

My eyes would do that to me when I was driving...or working on the pc for too long...and I would often black out from the strain of fighting it...not good while driving...

Hope this can help some...

Yep I was wondering the same thing.

The other day I was looking down and my boss was talking to me then *boom*

My eyes got crossed and I didn't want to look up at him.

I was afraid he would run off screaming ..LOL

It usually takes a few minutes for them to go back straight.

I wasn't sure if this was caused by lyme or the 20 other diseases I have.... lol

Thanks everyone for your input. My naturopath wants me to detox my liver and kidney real good to see if that gets rid of some of the floaters. Not so sure how they are connected though.
