Was bit by a tick toward the end of May - it turned into the "bulls-eye". Went to the ER that night and they said to monitor it!!!! and let my doctor know if it turned into anything or if I was having symptoms!!! Went to the doctor and was tested - came out positive for Lyme's Disease. Went on the antibiotics for 10 days and got re-tested. My doctor said that the test came back positive for that one also but not to take it too seriously as he thought the antibiotics were slow in taking effect. Right after that I came down with what I thought was a cold -- chronic cough, phlegm, post nasal drip. Doctor said it was just allergies. So took Loratidine(sp?) and that didn't work so he just put me on Singular and that's not working either. Could this be one of the side-effects/symptoms of Lyme Disease??? and how can I get rid of it??? driving me crazy with the constant cough. Any relief is appreciated. Thanks, Ben

Ben,

I recomend you finding an LLMD. 10 days of abx is NOT enough, especially since you know you were bit, and you had the rash. llmd is lyme literate doctor. do a google search entering in "seeking lyme literate doctor" and you should be able to find a site that can help you to find a doctor in your area.
