It feels like my left knee is stiff, all the times! I limp when I walk and it goes between limping to walk or not even wanting to walk because the pain is so bad. I've had xrays and they assured me its not a blood clot (im not at risk at all) and way to young they said. Just want to know if this is common with lyme or maybe is it somthing else. It never goes away.

and have a tender scalp if anything else has that, be nice to know. thanks!

Hi Ninjai,

Yes, joint pain is a very common symptom of Lyme. Sometimes it's constant and sometimes one minute your joint, knees especially, will feel like it's wrecked, then be fine a few minutes later. Tender scalp could be a sign of yeast build up. Are you taking lots of abx?

Im taking Amox but have been for a couple months. I also have pain down in my groin. Someone told me it might be candida.

I had wandering joint pain and inflammation the hardest hit were my hands ..elbows, hips, terrible tendonitis ,carpal tunnel in both wrists, painful toe joints too... and wonderful traveling pain in every joint in my body except never in my knees.. now isn't that strange? The stuff totally left my knees alone.. like "gonna give ya a break" Smile Samento eliminated all of it Smile

I went to accupuncture and it helped so much! I had terrible pain in my knees. I hope you feel better soon.

My pain is similar to buckron's. A lot of pain in my hand, fingers, and wrists. My hands get real swollen and I can bend them in the morning.

I have not had any pain in my knees which is strange bc I broke me knee and ruptured all my ligaments. I would have thought they would be the painful joints. I guess I am not complaining. I know how hard it is to have knee pain!

Hope you gets some relief soon!

Abbey..hmmmm..me too, a tractor drove over my knee and it ruptured all the fluid out and tore my tendons..all to hell...that knee is never going to be any good but Lyme left it alone.. are we on to something here? Smile

I've had the tender scalp also. It's like your hair hurts. Someone has told me it has to do with the connective tissue. If anyone can explain this better, please doSmile

However, I'm not on any antibiotics as of now, or in the past. So maybe if it's due to yeast buildup, it was from the foods I was eating.

Also, the limp, which I'm constantly trying to correct.

Wow Ron that sounds painful! I hyperextended my leg on a trampolene. I landed straight legged and it snapped it in the opposite direction. My knee cap went through my PCL! It was gross.

Very strange that lyme hasn't gotten to our scar tissue and injuries.I would have thought that was the 1st place it would have attacked.

Definate limp sometimes knee sometimes hip...always SOOOO much fun...

Sensitive scalp, sometimes sensitive skin - Hyperastesia I think - used to be really bad.

Accupressure used to help me with that too...
