My LLMD just switched me to Omnicef.

He said for Bart and spiro stage Lyme.

I cannot find anything about this med being effective for Bart.

It is very expensive, and I just refilled almost $40 worth of Doxy 2 days ago. He has me stopping the Doxy.

Anyone with any knowledge of Omnicef?

Im on doxy and omnicef too. Wonder if we have the same doc (I live in MI). My doc is in PA.

I havnt heard its for bart, my doc said "This is the oral equivielent of IV Rocephin." Anyway, its been very helpful for nuero symptoms, Ive been on it for 6 months. Love the stuff. That would be cool if it worked for Bart too.

Polka - Thanks friend!

Melissa, I see a Dr in MI. I will pm you.

Mavs, Wow that alot! I had one IM Billicin shot b4 starting treatment. It was given to me b4 doing the Igenex urine testing for Lyme.

If i remember the purpose was to create die off to then be seen in the urine.

Anyway, I do remember that within 30 minutes of getting the shot, I felt incredible.
