I have been taking Azithromycin 300mg and minocycline (alternating days) for a couple of weeks now, almost without any problems. For this last week, my pulse has been going crazy upon standing, and not that great while sitting. When I wake up and am still lying down, my pulse rate checks in at the mid 70's and when I stand it jumps to 130. After being up and active for a few minutes it is staying between 110-125. The llmd told me it was likely a herx and to cut the azithromycin down to a quarter of a tablet every other day. I have an appointment with my gp tomorrow but any advice/shared experiences would be great. |
