My visit to an ND today couldn't have come at a better time.

I have progressively gotten worse over the past week. Today's progression was no exception.

I came away with some hope, and an Igenex test kit on its way to the lab in California - that makes me feel as if an accomplishment was made today.

The pain and fatigue today are steadily worsening.

Yesterday, I was feeling so bad that I made a decision to give up some of my ongoing obligations. I have to face the fact that I'm not the same person as I was just nine months ago.

So unbelievable that one little event can change a life in such a manner as this.

Such a blessing that I've found so many supportive people, who are unfortunately going throught the same ordeal.

Such a tragedy that this exists as an active disease in so many people, and as a growing situation in this country.

It's quite the shame that it exists with such a misunderstood reputation. That doesn't mean it can't be understood though!

I'm glad to hear things went well with your LLND. Who's ultimatum was it to decide if you were going to get tested with IGeneX?

You should feel a sense of relief! You got the ball rollin and you're heading in the right direction. It's only forward from here Wink

The ND insisted that I go through with the IGeneX.

From all indications, she won't indicate a clinical diagnosis, but will treat with a protocal that would be very beneficial to someone with Lyme.

She wanted to run several other tests, but due to overall cost, I only went with the IGeneX and a complete thyroid panel.

I have a bag full of new supplements, diet and other suggestions - and more hope.

Now to await the results.

Thanks. Smile

Best wishes on the treatment and the test results! Just got back from my LLMD today, too. Retesting WB and some other tests.

Had two bags, one for me and one for my son. We discussed making my LLMD my primary. seriously considering it, just wish he was closer.

I am not a doctor, just a patient striving for recovery and hoping to offer support to others, too! Many blessings to you!
