Detox suggestions

I am a newbie to this disease although I believe I have had it for at least 10 years.

I need some help with detox and liver support.

I have not been diagnosed formally, but I believe that I have neural Lyme and am currently taking A bab. My ND told me to take ox bile to help with liver congestion. I also took a liver complex with milk thistle and artichoke leaf.

Now today I have diarrhea (soorry for the TMI). I am also taking zoloft for anxiety and just read that milk thistle can interact with zoloft.

What do people do for detox? I know it needs to be done. And I'm not sure if it's the ox bile or milk thistle complex that's causing this. Tomorrow I will eliminate one to see. Other than Epsom salt baths, what do you all have success with? My digestive tract is a mess right now.

I am also wondering what is best for detox. I have taken an epsom salt bath twice now and both times I felt horrible afterwards. I started drinking water with lemon in it, I have heard that is good for detox. I know milk thistle is good for the liver, but you already mentioned that. I am trying to figure out how to sweat w/o having a sauna and not feeling up to exercising...

Are you taking a probiotic? I take burbur for detox. I had to back off the a-bab for a little it made me feel like I was passing kidney stones, then my Dr. decided to go after the bart 1st...

I'm not all that up on it all either & in my search I found the burbur & it has helped!

sebnova, do you add hydrogen peroxide to your detox baths? That's an important part of the detox bath, hydrogen peroxide. Dry brushing the skin prior to the baths are important too, using a natural bristle brush.

Thanks ire will I was looking in the other threads, but didn't see anything. That's very helpful. I can feel my liver. It doesn't hurt, but it's like I can feel it in there.

Also, do you notice a metal, bitter taste in your mouth when you detox?

I'm confused on how to know what to detox for also. I got a natural parasite herbal thing that tastes disgusting, but I have NO idea if I even have any parasites. Also, should I be detoxing for heavy metal? How do you know what all to detox for?

Ok, don't drive yourself nuts with the detoxing. That's the problem with the internet. There is so much information and people become overwhelmed and feel they must do everything.

The only thing I take for detox is for my liver and that's Milk Thistle Seeds.

When it comes to reducing a herx, I use Epsom Salt baths and Burbur Detox.

A metallic taste in your mouth could be indication of high levels of metals in the body.
