I hope you all have an incredible Christmas and are feeling good enough to embrace it in its entirety.

I apologize for not being very active lately. I was feeling really good the past few days.

A good I have never felt, then I uped my dose of Oil of Oregano and the herxing hit once more.

Also, I had some horseradish yesterday and today I have a slight headache and just out of it somewhat.

I remember reading that horseradish can cause herxing. Is it true it is a mycoplasma killer?

The same reaction occurs when I eat cilantro!

If this is mycoplasma that I have, it could be the reason for so many problems that I have yet to find a cause for..

All in all, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and be vigilant as to what you put in your bodys!

Tradition doesn't exempt herxing.

Merry Christmas to you too Weasy!Smile

The only thing that I can find so far is this...

http://roseessentialoilwholesale.info/herbal-essential- remedies/horseradish-root-fresh/

"The most common viruses that cause bronchitis are influenza A and B, The most common bacteria that causes bronchitis is Mycoplasma pneumoniae."

"You can pour a cup of boiling water in a cup with grind / cut horseradish root.

Wait five minutes and have. Repeat this three times a day. This is one of the better treatment of bronchitis."

Okay, here's another one..lol..

http://www.herbs2000.com/herbs/herbs_horseradish.htm

Raven is the one to ask about this, she uses it and swears by it..maybe she can share her source of information..

You're onto something with those two things causing a reaction..I hope you find your answers.

Blessings to you, enjoy the day!

All of my advice comes from research and personal experience. I strongly suggest that you each check with your doctor for approval before changing or adding anything to your treatment.

Peace . . . starts within each one of us. When we have inner peace, we can be at peace with those around us. When our community is in a state of peace, it can share that peace with neighboring communities, and so on. When we feel love and kindness towards others, it not only makes others feel loved and cared for, but it helps us also to develop inner happiness and peace. And there are ways in which we can consciously work to develop feelings of love and kindness. For some of us, the most effective way to do so is through religious practice. For others it may be non-religious practices. What is important is that we each make a sincere effort to take our responsibility for each other and for the natural environment we live in seriously.

Thanks Kim!

I ended up reading a lot of Raven's old posts and she is very knowledgeable in this field.

I think I want to start adding a horseradish tincture to my regiment but I can't find any anywhere.. hmm..

Could it be that fermented foods cause herx? I don't know...

I know they are good for us.

Here's some good recipes for making your own fermented foods:

Happy holidays to all!

Weasy - Glad to hear that you are herxing. Sorry to hear it's happening on Christmas Day!!!

Yes, Horseradish kills Mycoplasma, along with Wasabi. (I think wasabi works/kills better) Mycoplasma loves to hang out in your sinuses (before & after it becomes systemic) That's why when you eat these food your nose starts to tingle & your eyes water.

I don't know if other fermented foods kill mycoplasma? I would love to try some Kimchi but haven't found a good Korean place yet around here. =0{

IMHO.... I believe most (if not all)people with LD have a systemic Mycoplasma infect. It might explain why people show up neg. for Bb after treatment but still feel bad, as if they still had LD (Bb)

@Raven.. That's interesting to know! The thing is my herx didn't occur until I went to sleep and I felt the effects when I woke up.

I mean my stomach started to gurgle after I ingested it but no serious physical debilitation until morning.

It's the exact same effect I receive after eating almonds, sunflower seeds and cilantro.. This really has me thinking!!
