I just got this stuff in capsule form today. From what I've been reading about it, it says to take 2 hours away from medication. I'm just wondering if this will interfere with absorption of my probiotics and herbal supplements as I also take them between meals and away from my abx? Thanks for any tips!

Supplements, minerals and vitamins, yes. Charcoal will adsorb pretty much anything in your system floating around for the two hours ish previous and two hours after you take it.

Probiotics, I wouldnt think so. But I have yet to find anything for sure on that. They are a microbe, something living technically, so there shouldnt be a way to adsorb them.

I use the activated charcoal almost daily, sometimes I forget. I find it's easiest for me to take around bed time. when I'm really detoxing, I take 12 pills a day, reg days I try to get 6 in.

The hard part is to figure out a schedule so you take them an hour before eating or supplements, or two hours after. That's why I take them at bedtime so they have plenty of time to do what they do while I sleep.

I was told to take my chlorophyll (which binds things WELL) at bedtime... Now I have to revamp my schedule bc I was taking my evening abx 2 hours before bed so I could take my pro-bx at bedtime. Sheesh. I have like 50 alarms on my phone to help me remember to take all this stuff!!

Hey Polka Hero... How's it been going? I saw a new Lyme doc this week... she's amazing and is starting me on Babesia trx. As soon as the meds arrive (from India! Alinia is only name-brand in the US. Which translates into more than $600 for MY copay. Ordered through a Canadian site.)

I also started Milk Thistle (240 mg/day) and Oil of Oregano (5 drops/day). My throat is a bit achy today, after the second day of taking it. Wondering if it's the OOO?? I really can't remember what this is supposed to do, after I did all that research! Gotta love the Lyme brains!

She kept me on the clarithromycin for the Lyme, but added in the babs trx.

Was diagnosed with Autonomic Disorder, POTS, Interstitial Cystitis, and Fibromyalgia. True story is I have late stage Lyme which has caused these things. Just began the fight in October 2011 (have been full-blown Lyme since Sept. 5, 2010), and WILL be victorious! Positive bands: IgG 41 and 60; IgM 23 and 41. CDC positive!

Not a doctor, not anyone of any legal standing... just someone on the search.

Hmmm, not sure when/if I'll be able to get these in. I take most of my herbal supplements between lunch and dinner, always have an evening bowl of cereal, and take a bunch of sleep supplements before going to bed. I guess I'll have to set my alarm and wake in the middle of the night to take them! Not!

WiscLamLymie,

I just had another appointment yesterday. My LLMD now wants me to add in Flagyl in addition to the zithromax/plaquenil combo I've been taking for the last 6 weeks. I thought that plaquenil was already a cyst-buster, but he said that it's more of a facilitator for the zithromax (helps it enter cells better?). Flagyl is supposed to be one of the most potent cyst-busting abx out there, I have to slowly work up to a full dosage which is 750 mg per day.

The OOO is a powerful natural abx, I take two drops of the highly concentrated P73 brand per day. It does burn a little though I never got a sore throat from it.

I've also ordered an EMEM rife machine and will start incorporating that into my protocol next week. I should be hitting this from all angles between EMFs, abx, and herbs. Preparing for hell. . .Devil
