Hello! I have had this rash on my hand since May. Not a single doctor or Dermatologist with over 30 years exp. can tell me what this rash is.

I have been told by the Derm that it could be a coinfection of Lymes, yet my LLMD says he doesn't think so, but doesn't know what it is.

Have any of you seen a rash like this? It doesn't hurt, itch, nothing. It is just there. Driving me crazy! RASHY

That's what my EM rash looked like on my hand, when I was rebitten. It took a months to go away.

Maybe your body is just having a hard time dealing with the Lyme invasion. Also, if you've been rebitten by mosquitos or other insects (whether they carry Lyme or not) it can retrigger your EM rash.

I am not a doctor, just a patient striving for recovery and hoping to offer support to others, too! Many blessings to you!

Any information offered is just sharing my experience and friendly advice, NOT a prescription. You should use your own judgment and discretion when making health care decisions.

I had an EM almost two years ago now and there is STILL a small red spot (a bit smaller than a dime) where the center of the rash was on my leg.

Apparently some never truly go away, just reduce in size. Or it takes years to do so.

I have had my EM since June and it still acts up - especially when the bacteria growth cycles every three weeks. Sometimes it is more obvious in appearance than others - sometimes it itches.
