I wanted to make you all aware of this wonderful PHA newspaper that was started 1 year ago from lymies on the lymenet.org message board and added others as well! This is a post i sent months ago, but i'm updating some info in the below.cost is now a flat $12 for shipping handling of 30-40 MAX newspapers per box since they went to 20 pages and it's FULL-SIZE paper now effective June 2007 due to postage hikes! It's really worth it folks. But you can read it ONLINE FOR FREE!

I got March 07 for 1st time; very impressed. I gave copies of it to:
my local clinic: my pcp, blood labs, lungs, heart, skin, rheumatologist, hospital CEO, blood lab there, ER director & supr., my dentist, and some for various waiting rooms!
local red cross chapter;
sent copies to: my local state senator/house of rep plus my federal senator, Iowa's Chuck Grassley, CHAIR OF FUNDING!
our current and gov. elect, attorney general Tom Miller, and 2 copies to Iowa's Dept. of Health director & director of their lyme/infectious disease.
gave immediately family/friends at xmas time.
For those who can't afford it, read it online, and forward the link to family/friends/your drs!

The press release thanking Maryland Congressmen is on the front page in the Public Health Alert (a nationwide publication).. along with a wonderful photo from the protest.
Also on the front page is an article about the new National Lyme Disease Memorial Park Project, established by Melanie Reber of California, which honors and remembers those who have passed away from tick borne diseases.
