Hi winters-

You got the good stuff!

Mine are only 500mg, I take them twice a day.

One in am and pm.

Good for you!

Winter I have 1000 mg softgels which I take twice a day.

Though on other websites I see the dose is 300 to 1000 mg (solid tablet or softgel) per a day.

Most of us take more than the recommended dose for such supplements since they help our immune systems stay above water. I hope someone else has more solid information for you.

Take Care!

I take two odorless 500 mg capsules per day. Dr. Singleton in his book recommends 1200-1800 mg per day. I would eat the cloves whole if I could stand it, just can't do it!

Immune system building! Garlic also fights some of the co-infections. My boyfriend hates it because then I smell like garlic, but I am healthier.

So he can have bad smell or sick girlfriend. I choose the garlic smell myself, easier to deal with!

Garlic is great! It's antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, antiparasitical. Can't go wrong with it, however, some people have problems with it burning their stomachs.

Best to take it after the very last bite of your meal. Dr. Klinghardt recommends Biopure brand because it's organic and has no additives or fillers. However, any good brand should be fine.

It is also a Tonic...

Aged garlic is among the better kinds to get - or in tincture form...Kyolic makes that - and despite what they say - it stinks...

YEARS ago I used Schiff - they had these MONDO 6500mg pills - I felt great on them - but MAN did it Stink!!!

My Grandfather actually did Chelation therapy with Garlic after a 2 big strokes - other supplements and stuff...but it was the garlic that gave him 7 extra years with us...That was the Ultimate stinky way of getting the benefits tho...
